Short CV
After obtaining my bachelor diploma in ore process engineering from Central South University (China) in 2003, I worked for Ma Steel as an engineer till 2005. Then I began to study in genetics in Qiqihar University (China) and obtained my master diploma in 2008. I researched on bioleaching at Institute of Process Engineering till 2009, which is an affiliate of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and I was enrolled in Harbin Institute of Technology as a PhD student in environmental science in March, 2010. After 8 months, I arrived in Netherland and began to work in professor Heeres’s group in the University of Groningen.

Describe the project shortly in your own words?
Humins characterization and hydrogenation, and the key is the catalyst screening.

What is the biggest challenge for you, or what fascinates you the most in this research project?
How to screen a suitable catalyst with an efficient strategy, and how to synthesize valuable chemical from humins.

What is your future career ambition?
Work on interesting research, synthesize some valuable chemical by green methods and earn money from all of the world.

How do you like to spend your time when not working on your research?
Fitness, football and Chinese chess are my best hobbies, and playing of Chinese flute can make me fell easy to everything.

Is there anything personal or anything else you would like to share?
I like to collect papers which are difficult to find. If you can’t find some papers, I can help you.
