Raised in High Wycombe in the United Kingdom, studied at Cambridge University to obtain a B.A in Natural Sciences in 2006 and a M.Sci working under Prof. Abell in 2007, before moving to the Netherlands and taking a few years to settle before moving to Wageningen.
What is your future career ambition?
Personally I'd like to see how processes develop, from the academic, bench-sized system up to pilot scale, and then to real-world, bulk-scale processes that are economically attractive.
How do you like to spend your time when not working on your research?
I am an insatiable constructor; I work plastic and metal, I design electronic circuits, I make clothes and am an avid cook.
