Researcher Sacha Kersten was on the Dutch NOS 8 Uur Journaal on 24 June 2010 because of the opening of a biofuel plant in Delfzijl. Kersten works on the CatchBio project Catalytic steps in the conversion of lignocellulosic biomass via pyrolysis to fuel precursors.
