2009, 17 September: introduction to CatchBio

The first CatchBio research projects have started or are about to start. The CatchBio consortium involves various Dutch universities and research institutes. Part of the success of the challenges CatchBio is facing, depends on close collaboration between the partners. Therefore the CatchBio Management Team aims to build up a strong community of researchers within the programme. 

17 September 2009 a short introduction programme for CatchBio researchers is organised in Utrecht. Aim of this meeting is to get acquainted with fellow researchers in the consortium, to give researchers some perspective on the CatchBio programme in its entirety and to clarify the long-term ambitions of the consortium. Also the issues of Intellectual Property (IP) and patent filing will be addressed since collaborations with the industry require several precautions regarding publishing in the public domain.
