Introduction to CatchBio

The second phase CatchBio research projects have started or are about to start. The CatchBio consortium involves various Dutch universities and research institutes. To successfully cope with the challenges CatchBio is facing, close collaboration between the partners is desirable. Therefore the CatchBio Management Team aims to build up a strong community of researchers within the programme.

Friday 4 June 2010 a short introduction programme for CatchBio researchers appointed at second round research projects is organised in Utrecht. Aim of this meeting is to get acquainted with fellow researchers in the consortium, to give researchers some perspective on the CatchBio programme in its entirety and to clarify the long-term ambitions of the consortium. Also the paradigm of open innovation will be addressed to clarify the profits for industrial stakeholders, as well as the precautions industrial stakeholders have to take for collaborations in consortia like CatchBio.
